Actually, that part was fun, especially the satisfying "dusting" that said guy end up doing when Wolverine stuck him with his claws enough times.

But he really needed to warn Summers about the danger Chuck thought she was in.

Of course that would be easier if he wasn't dangling from the tiny fist of a hot Black girl.

Origianally a drabble for open_on_sunday, prompt was titles of Franz Ferdinand songs (I choose What She Came For) however this is over a hundred words, and the exact one hundred word version I posted isn't very good. So this is the fic as it was intended.



This is what she came for.

To revel in the violence of being a Slayer. Punches, kicks, a knee to the stomach, to the face.

She's beating up a vamp she lured out of the Bronze.

She's beating up a perv for what's in his wallet, a place to stay.

This is what she came for.

To escape. From her demons, both literal and figurative. To run, always to run, which is the nature of the girl.

She's in Sunnydale to escape the demon that killed her Watcher Oh God, how could she leave her like that? to that?

She's in L.A. to escape Buffy and friends, demons of her own making. She doesn't even know who she is anymore.

This is what she came for.

To atone.

She's turning herself in, she's breaking out of prison to fight Angelus, she's going back to Sunnydale to face the people she's hurt.

This is what Faith came for.

It's the hunt that is in his blood. An urge to carnage, to kill and drink and hurt everyone around him. But he's above such things. There's an artistry to be had in evil. It's more than mindlessness, a primal urge. He's got a talent.

So while all the beast in him wants to do is bite hard, to drink deep, the man in him thinks, plans, plots. The man in him has a thing for convents.

Angelus wants to destroy not only the body of his victims, but the mind and soul too. There's so much more to him than a set of teeth.

Nuns always get the fuzzy end of the lollipop. It's no wonder you never see any of us walking around. If it's not Angelus wrecking up the convent, it's some yellow eyed jerk who wants to commune with Lucifer.

It used to be you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a few Nuns, now we're like unicorns. Practically fairytale creatures. Being rare has done nothing to stop demons from thinking we're the notch-de-resistance on their belt.


Atheism my butt. It's not secular humanism scaring off new recruits from the priesthood and nunnery. It's that damn Joss Whedon and those Winchester boys.

Logan should have realized there was trouble brewing when the precognitive kid holed up in his room with a month supply of food annd refused to come out until "that damn book went away."

The next day Logan noticed a few girls in his self defense class weren't paying attention. That shit just didn't happen in his class. He yelled, they cringed and he figured that was the end of it. The next day they'd brought the fucking book to class with them.

He didn't get the weird apple motif on the cover, and frankly he didn't give a damn. On the way back to his room he passed groups of giggling girls, all with that same book. It was really starting to freak him out. And what was with the all the girls putting sparkles on shit?

By the end of the week he'd pretty much locked himself into his room as well.

Eventually the fad seemed to fade away, as all teen obsessions did and Logan wandered downstairs. It was late, and that kid was watching TV, like he always did at night when everyone else slept.

"Anything good on, kid?"

"not really, just this documentary about the Twihard phenomenon."

"I thought that book was old news?" Logan said, the fear blunt in his voice.

"The first one, yeah, this is about the sequel."

"Sequel?"

"There's gonna be 4 books in total-"the kid turned to look, but Logan was gone,"Mr Logan?"
But Logan was off, already planning his extended trip to northern Canada.

-During the events of Momento Mori, while Athena tried to pry her inner most secrets from her mind with the memory device, Vala concentrated on the most inane, most insignificant thing she could think of on the spot - Leave It To Beaver. When the machine blew, thoughts of Leave It to Beaver were all that was left.

- During the events of Momento Mori, Saul, the diner owner, agreed to let her stay on one condition. Val had to help him create his life long dream of being Ward Cleaver. It mostly involved wearing heels and pearls at the same time, and sleeping in separate beds. Val didn't remember much of her life before, but she was pretty sure this wasn't the worst thing she'd ever been through.

- While rifling through some of Daniels artefacts, Vala comes across a case with a necklace inside. She doesn't bother looking at the alien warning, that she couldn't read anyway. If she had been able to read that it said (roughly translated as)"Beware those who would live in the past, especially pasts that never really existed" maybe she would have hesitated putting it on, then again maybe not.

- Ouija Boards really are bad juju.

He was placed with an admiral, who officially was his "foster father", to help him adjust. One day, while visiting his foster brother Lee at the air force training facility (or what passed for the air force these days) he saw her. She was teaching flight and he'd always had a thing for blondes. That very night he asked Admiral Adama to pull a few strings and get him into the program.

1) Charlie, his son. Because he died, and sometimes Jack hates him for it.

2) Charlie, the Retu kid, after he got snaked with a Tokra. There's just something unsettling about that voice, the presence of a creature that's lived for centuries and a childs face. They never did play ball like Jack promised.

3)Mini Jack, his (possibly evil) clone. Especially after the little shit sent Carter lingerie for Christmas one year. The worst part is that she thinks it's funny. He is such a little bastard.

4)The Anointed One, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Not that he watches that show or anything. It's just that everyone was over at Janet's place doing a Cassie 'extended family' thing and she made them all watch it. That Anointed Kid really is annoying, almost as annoying as Dawn was that first season she was on the show, but she turned out alright. Yep, Anointed One was just awful.

Not that he watches that show or anything.

5)Jack hates the larval Gouald in every Jaffa he's killed since this whole thing started. Because he knows they're just guys following orders, who have no option B, and if it weren't for the snake in their guts they'd still be alive and his hands would be a hell of a lot less bloody.
